Battalion Chief Matt Gamblin
Battalion Chief Matt Gamblin began his career with Miami
County EMS in March of 1997 as a Part-time EMT. In March of 1998 he promoted to
full time EMT. He became an EMT-D and then EMT-I by the end of 2004. In 2006
Matt became a Death Investigator and has since become Special Deputy Coroner.
Matt was promoted to Lt. in March of 2014. In November of 2014 Matt became
certified as a Paramedic and was promoted to B shift Battalion Chief.
Matt comes from a long line of public safety. His mother
is
a retired Police Dispatcher, his father was a motorcycle officer and his wife,
Sara, is a Paramedic as well. Matt makes his home in the county seat of Paola
with his wife and 2 children.
